Alan is a Senior Manager in the health team at Economist Impact and is an expert in the sustainability and resilience of the healthcare system and the societies they serve. He has led a range of projects on cancer care including, the index of cancer preparedness, health technology assessment and the adoption of innovation; rare diseases, personalised and precision medicine, and demographic change (including falling fertility rates and their consequences). Alan has a degree in Biology from Royal Holloway, University of London and gained his doctorate from the University of Warwick.
