Professor Alexandra Petra Bielfeld is the Vice Director of UniKiD Clinic for REI, Department of OB/GYN University Hospital of Düsseldorf, Germany and Director of the associated research laboratory.
Prof. Bielfeld graduated from Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany with M.D. and PhD Degree. She started her scientific career 22 years ago. Since 2005, she is the Director of the UniKiD Research Laboratory. For several years, she was also a Visiting Researcher at the University of California San Francisco and Stanford University, California, USA. Prof Bielfeld is specialized in Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine. Since 2011, she’s the Vice Director of UniKiD Clinic.
She has dozens of research publications and contributes to numerous medical journals. Meanwhile she also supervises doctoral, diploma and master students.
