Dr Chung-Liang Shih is the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. He started his career as an attending physician in Emergency Medicine at National Taiwan University Hospital. He began working for the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2013 and has previously served as Director of the Department and Planning, Secretary-General and Director-General of the Department of Medical Affairs. He obtained his MD from Kaohsiung Medical University and holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Health Policy and Management, National Taiwan University.
