
Jung Ryeol Lee

Dr. Jung-Ryeol Lee is the Chairman of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Seongnam, Korea. He is also the Professor of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Department of Translational Medicine, Seoul National University College of Medicine.
He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine and completed his fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital.
He is presently the general secretary of the Korean Society for Fertility Preservation and has partaken as a council member in multiple academic societies for reproductive endocrinology and minimally invasive surgery in South Korea.
Dr. Lee’s clinical practice is focused on infertility, fertility preservation for cancer patients, minimally invasive surgery for myomas, ovarian tumors, and other gynecologic diseases.
He has conducted various researches on in-vitro fertilization, ovarian-function evaluation, and fertility preservation along with authoring and co-authoring many articles published in domestic and international journals.
He has also actively given presentations and lectures in academic meetings and has developed an innovative surgical technique called single-port laparoscopy for virtually scarless surgery.
