Dr Vuong is a lecturer and an infertility specialist from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She is currently the Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She was one of the pioneers of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) in Vietnam, starting in 1997. Her areas of research activity include ovulation induction in low body weight patients, ovarian stimulation in low response patients, frozen embryo transfer, and in-vitro maturation (IVM).

Dr Vuong has authored more than 50 publications in international scientific journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, Human Reproduction, and Fertility & Sterility… She has also been involved in training and technical support for the establishment of most IVF centers in Vietnam and is also a senior lecturer of many ART training courses in Vietnam. She has been an invited speaker at regional and international meetings.
