Dr. Nayana Patel is the Medical Director of Akanksha Hospital and Research Institute, Anand, Gujarat, India. She is considered a pioneer within IVF and surrogacy in India and internationally acclaimed for her work. Dr. Patel has received many awards, including the Dr. Shobhnaben A. Shah Rotating Trophy (2006-07) by IMA Gujarat for best social work in medical practice. She has authored an extensive number of research papers and book chapters as well as published her own book titled “Advances in Assisted Reproductive Technologies”. Her research interests are regenerative medicine, gut microbiome, ovarian & endometrial biomarkers and PCOS.
